Blue...

I definately was feeling a bit blue today. As in the color blue! I did 2 challenges today on Cafemom and for some reason I decided to use blue. The first challenge was to follow a certain sketch but theme had to be water related, water is blue right? lol Ive had this water looking paper lying around for sometime and I had no clue what to do with it until this challenge. I decided that the surfafella I received in a RAK would fit just perfect with the water paper. This is what I came up with...
not 100% pleased with it but it kinda came out neat.

The next challenge I did was for the Addicted to Bellas group. We were to use some of those little paint samples that you can get at the paint department, you know, the ones that have like 3 or 4 different colors on them that you can take home... Well I grabbed a handful of all sort of colors and decided to use the blue on this. I was completely stumped on this one. I flipped thru all my RAK bella images (because I dont own an actual stamp, sad i know) and found this artistabella. PERFECT! Yet I still had no clue what I was doing. After I colored the image, I asked my 4 year old what color background I should use. She suggested brown since the bellas hair is brown... and whamo! Immediately the easel popped into my head. I am very pleased how this turned out. My 4yo liked it too!
